Who Is She?

Stephanie Helgeson is freelance illustrator who was born and raised in Staten Island, New York. She began drawing at a young age, but never knew that art would become her calling until high school. After high school she attended the School of Visual Arts, in New York City to major in Illustration. By the end of her college career, she had developed a mostly traditional way of working in acrylic paints and mixed media. Her subject matter changes between cartoons geared for children’s books and a more adult style for comics and sci-fi/fantasy work.

Stephanie enjoys drawing/painting cartoons, trees and organic feeling paintings.
